Dr. Aballay has spent the last 7 years focusing on the treatment of illnesses that often are very difficult to treat in conventional medical practice. Amongst these are conditions that involve chronic pain such as fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, etc. This exposure has spiked his interest in the conventional and alternative treatment of pain syndromes. Dr. Aballay graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Health Promotion. He went on to do his medical studies at the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx NY and his internship in family medicine at the Washington Hospital near Pittsburgh PA. He has over 40 hours of certification in pain management and is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine. He has done additional training in Holistic and Integrative Medicine, management of pain in cancer patients, ultrasound guided interventional pain management, and training in mesotherapy and homeopathic trigger point injection for pain management. He has served as the medical director for three certified pain clinics and has developed protocols for dealing with substance abuse in patients on chronic opioid therapy and also in dealing with pregnancy and opioid drug treatment.
